ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER
 
The SSI Advanced Adventurer course is the perfect next step for certified Open Water Divers who want to expand their skills, gain experience, and explore new types of diving. This course allows you to try a variety of specialty dives while building confidence and becoming a more capable and comfortable diver.


During the course, you will complete five adventure dives under the guidance of an SSI Professional. Two of these dives are Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation, while the remaining dives can be selected based on your interests and local diving conditions. Popular options include Perfect Buoyancy, Marine Ecology, Night & Limited Visibility, Wreck Diving, and many more.


Each adventure dive introduces new skills, knowledge, and techniques, helping you become a safer and more confident diver while discovering exciting aspects of the underwater world. The course focuses on practical experience and learning through diving, allowing you to gain valuable hands-on experience in a variety of environments.


Training is conducted using high-quality, professionally maintained Mares equipment, and our instructors will ensure you feel comfortable and supported throughout the course. Upon completion, you will receive the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification, opening the door to new diving opportunities and preparing you for future specialty and continuing education courses.


Whether you want to improve your buoyancy, explore deeper dive sites, enhance your navigation skills, or simply gain more experience underwater, the SSI Advanced Adventurer course is a fun and rewarding way to take your diving to the next level.


To earn the certification for Advanced Open Water Diver, you must complete 4 specialty courses and have done a total of 24 dives.
