Open Water Course

The SSI Open Water Diver course is the world's most recognized entry-level scuba certification and is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to dive safely and confidently. No previous diving experience is required, making it the perfect starting point for your underwater journey.

 

During the course, you will develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to become a competent and independent diver. The training is divided into three parts: digital learning through the SSI online platform, confined water sessions where you will practice essential diving skills, and open water dives where you will apply everything you have learned in a real diving environment.

 

Our instructors will guide you through each stage of the course at a comfortable pace, ensuring you fully understand the principles of diving, equipment use, underwater communication, buoyancy control, and safe diving practices. The course is designed to build confidence gradually, allowing you to become comfortable in the water while enjoying the excitement of exploring beneath the surface.

 

Throughout your training, you will use high-quality Mares equipment that is regularly serviced and maintained to the highest standards. By the end of the course, you will have completed all the required skills and open water dives needed to earn your SSI Open Water Diver certification.

 

Once certified, you will be qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres with a buddy and your certification will be recognized worldwide. More importantly, you will gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to safely explore the underwater world and continue your diving adventures wherever they may take you.
